About Us

Seawood Photo opened in Marin County in 1947, and has been serving the photography community in Northern California ever since. We are a small team of passionate photographers, all specializing in different areas of photography. We aim to pass on useful information and quality used equipment.

We buy, sell, and trade photography gear from our San Rafael, California store-front and through our online shop. We stock a huge range of high quality photo equipment at great prices.

Have film to develop? We partner with a local lab to develop 110, 35mm (including disposable cameras), 120, and large format film. The lab processes c-41, black and white, and E6. 

Seawood offers custom printing and scanning services including slide/ negative scans, photo restoration, and enlargements. 

Passport photo services are available during our regular business hours on a walk-in basis. We provide both printed and digital passport photos for US and international passports, citizenship documents, and international visas. Please call with any questions!
