Svedovsky 8x10 Field Camera w/Fujinon-A 300mm f/9 UNUSED, EXCELLENT

The limited production Svedovsky cameras are hand-built in Poland by Piotr Niewierowicz. This one was a special order by one of our customers. It took over a year and a half to receive it. By the time did health issues made him unable to use the camera.

It is in perfect condition. and has seen zero use!

It is constructed entirely of mahogany. Two very precise rails form the focusing mechanism. It features a removable, custom made bellows. Interchangeable vertical/ horizontal back. Max bellows extension: 800mm.

The camera locks down very tightly. It features ample movements.

The lens is a Fujinon-A 300mm f/9 in a Copal 1 shutter. This is an uncommon, great performing, and compact lens for 8x10 format.

Lens is Apochromatic has 420mm of coverage and takes 55mm filters. It is one of smaller and sharpest 8x10 lenses out there.

It is in GOOD+ condition. It has no scratches, fungus, or haze, just some minor internal dust as always. Shutter speeds sound accurate.

The kit includes several accessories; a 5x7 reducing back, a 4x5 reducing back, and metal ground glass protectors for each.

It also comes with two Svedovsky hard cases; a large one to transport the whole outfit, and a smaller one for traveling light with just the camera.
