The Nikon FM3a is considered by many to be the finest film camera Nikon ever produced.
Based on the Nikon FE/FM platform, they took the best features of all those models and incorporated them into this model.
Like the FM series it features all mechanical shutter speeds, meaning you have ALL speeds available if your battery dies.
Like the FE2 it offers manual or Aperture Priority exposure modes and TTL flash.
Flash synch is a 250th second, top Speed is 1/4000th.
It uses F-mount AI, AIS and AF Nikkor mount lenses. It also has interchangeable focus screens and will accept an external motor drive.
