Very nice Leica III rangefinder camera. It's hard to find an early 1930's Leica in good working condition, but this one hits all the marks.
The rangefinder is clean and in proper alignment. The shutter speeds sound accurate and have no holes or excessive wear.
The black paint is just starting to brass from wear. This will continue to look cooler and cooler with use!.
The lens is a rare early model normal lens to fit 1930-1934 Leica cameras with a "standard" Leitz thread mount.
It is called an 11 O'Clock because the focus knob ends up at the 11:00 position when at infinity focus, unlike all later models with a 7:00 position.
It also has no serial number or focus lock. The mount is stamped with a zero and a four which are the correct markings.
Condition is quite good for it's age. The glass is very clean with very minimal haze. No scratches or fungus, and focus is very smooth.
Don't let this one get away!
