The Nikonos V is a heavy duty camera that uses standard 35mm film. It features aperture-priority or full manual LED metering, a non-battery dependent 90th/sec shutter speed and B setting.
Several lenses were available. The 15mm, 20mm, and 28mm lenses were for underwater use only. The 35 and 80mm lenses were for use above water.
Focus is achieved by scale. There is an awesome depth of field indicator system on the lenses for easy focus.
