Very clean example of one of the best classic 35mm cameras! We just installed a MR9 battery adapter ($50. value). This allows you to use modern 1.5v button cells as it steps down the voltage to 1.35; the same as the discontinued mercury cells. This gives you more precise metering.
The Olympus OM-1 is a light weight and very compact mechanical camera. It is an all-manual camera and has no automatic modes, making it a classic experience to use. It has a basic + to - metering system that is easy to see even in bright light.
It will accept a motor winder.
The Shutter speeds are all mechanical and the camera needs no battery to operate ( the meter is unusable with no battery of course). It is a very tough and reliable camera.
Flash synch is a 1/60th second.
Top shutter speed is 1/1000 second.
It uses Olympus Zuiko OM mount lenses.
