Olympus OM-3 Film Camera w/Zuiko 50mm f/1.8, Grip GOOD

Camera is in good working order. The body shows paint wear and brassing from use (see photos).

Speeds and meter are accurate. The lens is clean with smooth focus.

The Olympus OM-3 was a low production all mechanical camera aimed at the pro market.

It is similar to the OM-1 camera in that is not battery dependent and has a great bright viewfinder,

However the OM-3 steals some of the advanced technology of the OM-4 with an advanced light meter that includes spot, multi-spot, and average metering.

Top speed is 1/2000 sec. The meter display is below the image area in the finder. It is an LCD display that has you line up the dots with a hashmark in the center to achieve correct exposure.

There is an illuminator button on the side of the mirror box lat lets you see the display in low light.

This is a relatively simple camera with no self-timer, mirror lock-up or multiple exposure capability.

But if you are looking for a compact, reliable mechanical camera with improved metering this may be the camera for you.
