We don't know what this is and could find no information online. What we do know is it accepts Leica and Canon thread mount lenses.

Oddly, to see infinity in focus on the ground glass the lens has to be held about 1/4" in front of the unit. Perhaps a spacing ring is needed?

The side of the item is engraved "B.F.L. I 137' Leica Canon I.E.Rasmussen WPG. Condition is good. Item shows minor wear (see photos).
