Rollei 35 S w/40mm f/2.8 Sonnar HFT NO METER GOOD

Very nice compact camera with a great lens!

The light meter is not functional, but you can manually set aperture and shutter speed (and use a light meter app on your iPhone).

This will save you $100. + vs a working meter version.

The Rollei 35 is a super compact 35mm camera. It features a high-quality collapsible 40mm f/2.8 Sonnar lens.

Focus is done by scale. This means you guess the distance to your subject then set it on the focus scale on the lens.

Even if you are not very good at estimating distance this is not difficult to do; the 40mm lens has enough inherent depth of focus that it's easy to get it right.

Please note that in order to collapse the lens the camera must be cocked.
