Zeiss 50mm f/2 Sonnar Red-T Wartime in Leica M39 Mount GOOD-

The Zeiss 50mm f/2 Sonnar Red-T in Leica M39 (LTM) is a highly sought-after, legendary wartime hybrid. Originally engineered for the Contax rangefinder, these factory-genuine optical blocks were retrofitted into Leica M39 mounts during the 1940s and feature the famous anti-reflective Red-T coating.

This one is in GOOD- condition. The glass shows some tiny scratches and cleaning marks. The barrel shjows moderate wear.

The focus needs an adjustment or repair.

Oddly; the lens focuses to infinity looking through a rangefinder camera (though we have not film tested it) but when mounted on a Sony mirrorless camera with and adapter we could not achieve infinity focus. We also tried it on an M10 Monochrom and could not get anything beyond around 40' in focus.
