The Leica MP (Mechanical Perfection!) is considered to be the finest 35mm rangefinder camera ever produced.
It shows frame lines for 28mm / 35mm / 50mm / 75mm / 90mm / 135mm lenses. The camera is not battery dependent; all speeds work without it.
Only the LED light meter relies on a battery.
The body is constructed of solid brass. The viewfinder is brighter, resists flare and ghosting. Controls are extremely smooth.
The shutter is very quiet.
The beautiful anthracite finish was a very limited edition; only 600 were produced. This one is #506.
Condition is excellent. The camera shows zero signs of use. The paint is immaculate. It has no red dot.
Comes with Leica Rapid rewind crank 14437.
