The Minolta X-700 MPS is legendary for introducing the Minolta Program System (MPS), which made it one of the very first 35mm SLRs to feature a foolproof "point-and-shoot" fully programmed auto-exposure mode. It is known for its incredible ease of use, an exceptionally bright viewfinder with a full LED exposure display, and its impressive longevity, remaining in production for 20 years. The MD 50mm F/2 is a capable and ultra-compact "nifty fifty" starter lens perfectly calibrated to lock into the camera's Program mode.
The body is in okay condition, there a patina on all sides of the camera from usage and the previous owner had engraved writing on the right side of the camera.
The shutter speeds are working properly.
The lens is focusing smoothly and the aperture is clicky.
The glass is clean with minimal internal dust.
